*M. Sc First Year (Semester I & II) is common to all courses of the School of Chemical Sciences.

**M. Sc Second Year (Semester III & IV) is separate as per the specializations as given below.

Department of Polymer Chemistry has earned a name of being the best centre of Maharashtra for the studies in Polymer Sciences. In this course emphasis is given on polymer synthesis, characterization, processing and applications. A well equipped polymer processing and characterization laboratories are established.

Department of Pesticides & Agrochemicals offers a novel course that includes synthesis and formulation of pesticides, pests and pest management and manufacturing processes of fertilizers. The Department has made its mark to develop trained manpower required for pesticides synthesis and formulation industries.

Department of Industrial Chemistry covers all types of chemical industries, such as, pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, polymers, cosmetics, paints, oils, soaps, detergents, etc. in its curriculum. The course structure emphasizes more on organic chemistry and the curriculum & practical training with projects in recent thrust areas of research provide better job opportunities in academics and different industries. 

Department of Organic Chemistry offers a curriculum and practical training with projects in thrust areas of science which provide opportunities to the students for seeking employment in academics, industrial sectors and to qualify the NET/SET/GATE examinations as well as to develop as a researcher. Department of Organic Chemistry made its mark at National and International level through its research activities and potential to develop trained manpower required for national growth.   

Department of Physical Chemistry started with a vision to generate well trained and qualified M. Sc. Physical Chemistry personnel to support and strengthen the basic, interdisciplinary and applied sciences including chemistry, in research and teaching. The Department has achieved success in providing opportunities to the students in acquiring sufficient theoretical knowledge and practical training for better employment. 

Department of Analytical Chemistry offers curriculum based on the present need and demand of various industries, laboratories and institutes. The Department imparts the basic knowledge as well the practical training with sophisticated instruments. The curriculum has potential to develop trained manpower required for national progress.   

These all six courses have acquired the reputation at National as well as International level due to significant course contents, emphasis on advanced practicals and projects.
