The School has state-of-the-art research facilities for conducting life sciences research. Instrumentation facilities are available in specialized laboratories and central instrumentation facility at the School. The facilities and motivation provided by the university and grant applications by the faculties have brought in 23 projects to the tune of around Rs. 384.478 Lakhs + 264.75 Lakhs since 2009. Besides PG students, the School has generated post-PG human resource of 50 Ph.D.s, 7 M.Phil.s and currently 39 registered students are working towards their doctoral degree. In addition, a Post-Doctoral Fellow and more than 10 project fellows (JRF) are engaged in ongoing research projects. The research interests of the faculty and students is widely focused on almost all aspects of applied life sciences for the betterment of society and environment.
