Informally many scientists of eminence visit the School and interact with the PG and research students. These interaction help develop collaboration, joint projects and solve difficulties of the research students. Moreover, these provide the much needed exposure to the PG students of the school.

• A lecture on Fulbright fellowships 2010 – 2011 for Indian citizen by Dr. Shanher, co-ordinator,Fulbright programme, American centre,Mumbai was organized for the benefit of research scholars and faculty members on campus.
• School of Life Sciences organized two day Workshop on “ Bio - Instrumentations” for all the M.Sc II MB/BT/BC students to make them familiar with the sophisticated instruments available in the school, co-ordinated by Dr (Mrs) Bhalsing S.R. and Dr. Chaudhari A.B., along with the active participation of all staff members of Life Sciences, on July 30 – 31,July 2010.
• Dr. Yogesh Shouche, NCCS, Pune delivered a guest lecture on “ Metagenomics” for all M.Sc students in School of Life Sciences for all the M.Sc students on 15^th July 2010.
