Director, Knowledge Resource Center  

He has 24 of years professionals experience Recently he has joined as "Director, Knowledge Resource Center" at Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon. He has published 15 Papers in National Journals. He has 3 papers published in International Conference Proceedings and 20 papers in National conference proceedings. He has recently attended International Conference on Library Science and presented the paper at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He has been a resources person to several workshops, Seminars and Refresher courses sponsored by UGC and AICTE. He is the recipient of “Best Librarian Award- 2008” of NUCLA.

He is a recognized Research Supervisor for Ph. D. at RTM Nagpur University; Sant Gadgte baba Amravati University and SRT M University Nanded. Eight students are registered under his guidance for Ph. D. in LIS. He has guided more than 10 M. Phil students and 35 MLISc students. He is the ‘Co-Editors of a Half yearly National Journal ‘Indian Journal of Interdisciplinary Research’ and quarterly Journal “Dnyanjagat”. Presently he is working on a UGC sponsored Minor Research Project. He is the life member of professional organizations viz. ILA, VLA, NUCLA, LISAA, AISMLA, BAUTA, etc.

 

He has completed Masters Degree in Library & Information Science in 2005 from Deptt. Of Library & Information Science, University of Pune, with the specialisation of ‘Management of Industrial Libraries/Special Libraries’ and qualified NET (National Eligibility Test) in the year 2006. He has around 5 years of professional experience. He joined Central Library, Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon as ‘Assistant Librarian’ on 24^th September, 2007. He had also worked as ‘College Librarian’ at Pune. He handled additional charge of Information Scientist for a year and also as ‘Contributory Lecturer’ in Deptt. of Library and Information Science 4 years.

 

She obtained Master Degree in Computer Science from NMU, Jalgaon. She has joined as Information Scientist from July, 2008 at Central Library. She has also an experience of about three years as contract lecturer at Department of Computer Science. She qualified the SET examination and her specialisation is in information retrieval and digital library works. She also works as contributory teacher for the Deptt. Of Library and Information Science.
